School Heating

Monday 15th December 2014 at 2:00pm

We arrived at school this morning to discover our heating had failed over the weekend.

The main body of the building was an acceptable temperature, however, the Year R classrooms were registering as 11 degrees and therefore the decision was made that if parents wished they may keep Year R children at home today.

There has been an engineer on site all day trying to establish the problem.  An emergency gas button had been activated in error.  The boiler that heats the main body of the school is now working again.

The Year R classrooms are operated by a separate pump and there is still a problem with this. The Year R children that attended school today have been educated in the hall, music room & library.

Please see the scrolling bar on the homepage of our website for updated information.

The heating has now been restored to the building and the school is open as normal for all children. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
